Support Worker – Young People (Solo & Semi-Independent Living) £29,000

P+S Care and Support are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to work with young people in solo and semi-independent living settings. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people to develop independence, confidence, and life skills while maintaining strong safeguarding and professional boundaries.

You will provide consistent, person-centred support to young people, often on a 1:1 basis, helping them navigate day-to-day life, emotional wellbeing, education, and the transition toward adulthood.


  • Provide high-quality 1:1 and semi-independent support to young people

  • Support young people with daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking, appointments, and routines

  • Promote emotional wellbeing and positive decision-making

  • Act as a positive role model, maintaining clear professional boundaries at all times

  • Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and placement expectations

  • Accurately record notes, incidents, and outcomes in line with procedures

  • Work in line with safeguarding policies and escalate concerns appropriately
