About Us
We’re not just another care and support provider – and we’re definitely not “just a recruitment agency”.
We’re a people-first partner built on experience, integrity and a genuine passion for doing things the right way. Everything we do starts and ends with people – the young people and adults we support, the teams who show up every day, and the organisations who trust us to get it right.
Our approach is simple: quality over quantity, relationships over transactions, and care that actually cares.
We work closely with services to truly understand their values, their challenges and the individuals they support. That means we don’t send “anyone available” – we place the right people, with the right skills, mindset and heart for the role.
Behind the business is lived experience. P+S Care and Support was created because we believed the sector deserved something different – a partner who is present, accountable and emotionally invested, not distant or box-ticking. That belief shapes how we recruit, how we support our staff and how we work alongside our partners.
Our founder has stood on both sides of the sector. Having worked within services that relied on agency support, she understands first-hand that filling a rota isn’t just about numbers – it’s about consistency, trust and the impact one unfamiliar face can have. Every shift filled carries responsibility, and every placement should offer continuity, stability and reassurance for the people being supported.
That understanding drives how we operate. We treat rota gaps with the same care and attention as permanent placements, because in care, every shift matters. Consistency isn’t a “nice to have” – it’s essential to positive outcomes, strong relationships and safe, effective support.
We champion professionalism, strong boundaries, compassion and reliability – because vulnerable people deserve stability and teams deserve to feel supported, not stretched or forgotten.
At our core, we’re here to raise standards, build trust and make a real impact – one placement, one shift, one relationship at a time.
Because care should never feel like a service. It should feel like support.
