Yesterday, we were proud to host a dedicated Self Harm Awareness and Ligature Training Day at our training centre, attended by 15 of our committed support staff.
The session focused on increasing awareness, understanding risk factors, recognising warning signs, and developing practical strategies to support individuals in crisis safely and compassionately. Alongside this, the ligature awareness element provided vital guidance around prevention, environmental risk reduction, and emergency response procedures within care settings.
At P+S Care and Support, we believe that ongoing training is essential in ensuring our teams feel confident, prepared, and supported to deliver the highest standards of care. Investing in specialist training not only strengthens professional practice but ultimately helps create safer environments for the individuals we support every day.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such an engaging and important day of learning. The dedication shown by our staff to continually develop their knowledge and skills reflects the passion and commitment that sits at the heart of our organisation.
